It is with heavy hearts that we let you know that our Partner and dear friend Janet L. Intrieri passed away in October 2006. Our hearts and prayers are with Janet’s family and loved ones.

Janet L. Intrieri, Partner with Lake Pointe Partners, LLC, had 18 years of professional experience including 11 years focused on financially distressed and underperforming companies.

Ms. Intrieri served in advisory and interim management roles in both financial and operational capacities. She has served as Corporate Controller, Assignee for the Benefit of Creditors in out-of-court liquidations and assisted in the asset sales of troubled companies. Prior to joining Lake Pointe, Ms. Intrieri was employed with several nationally recognized turnaround consulting firms, most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer of a $500 million tissue manufacturer. Previous to that role she served as both Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of a manufacturing wholesaler.

Ms. Intrieri received her BA in Economics from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and her MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management. In addition, she was a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor (CIRA).

Ms. Intrieri was a member of the Turnaround Management Association, having served as a Board member of the Chicago/Midwest Chapter. She was also a member of the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Illinois Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the International Women's Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation.
